Prime Time K-6 Afterschool Program

**NOTE:  Program planning to open in 2024... Afterschool Program is not currently open as it is going through the WAC licensing process and will hopefully have an opening date set soon!  Please email redemptionfellowship.jairo@gmail.com for more information about opening date and registration for this Afterschool Program.
Our program shares God’s love through creative activities & engagement and the caring relationships of program leaders.  Students get homework assistance, educational resources, and learn how to become part of a faith community that encourages and serves others.
MONDAY-FRIDAY
(Afterschool- 6pm)

*Schedule is the same for school days in Tukwila/Seatac School Districts.  There will be no afterschool for designated holidays that schools close on.
AFTERSCHOOL SCHEDULE:
Part 1:  Homework Assistance/Music/Snacktime - 30 m
Part 2: Opening Prayer/ Weekly Verse - 10 m
Part 3: Lesson/ Educational Discussion - 20 m
Part 4: Arts/Craft Activity - 30 min
Part 5: Wrap up/ Game Activity - 30 min
Registration Packet Forms
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
1.  Fill out Afterschool Registration Form & return to Redemption Fellowship main office or email Jairo @ redemptionfellowship.jairo@gmail.com.   You can also call 303-241-1193 for more information on program.
2.  Pay Registration Fee (required annually) $40.00 (Can be done online or over the phone).  
3.  Fill out and submit payment policy form.  Monthly $250 payment due by 20th of each month prior to month of service. You can submit payment online (choice of 1 month, 4 months, or 8 months at a time).  You will be asked to sign in through subsplash so you can add card information and receive a receipt via email.   All fees and paperwork must be completed and paid prior to participation in afterschool program.  Scholarship options available for low income famlies.  Please ask school directors for more information to see if you qualify.
4.  Submit additional paperwork:  Pick up Form, Parent Handbook Form, Liability release form, Transportation form, and Medication Form.  All forms are listed in PDF below.

About the team leadership.

Jairo and Julie Ramos 

AfterSchool Directors
Associate Pastor Jairo Ramos and his wife Julie will be leading a team of volunteers and staff for the Prime Time Afterschool Program.  They both come with a long history of working with kid programs and events.  Jairo has a passion for storytelling, has managed several programs & events, participated as a leader in a preschool, and loves providing fun fitness activities as he is an athlete and a past pro cyclist.  Jairo is also able to speak fluently in both English and Spanish.

Julie has a M.A. in Education and over 25+ years in various educational leadership roles that include infant-preschool, K-12, and higher education.  She managed her own Preschool/Daycare for over 4 years and was Center Director for Huntington Learning Center that develops special curriculum for those needing additional educational assistance.  She has also taught as a substitute in K-12 classrooms and has been a professor in the higher educational level.  

They both have managed several large events that provide child development activities and have a passion for providing excellent and Christ-like driven education for children.  They are both familiar with working with multi-lingual children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
